Free Compost Workshops!

The Christchurch City Council is funding workshops on Composting to help the Community learn how to manage a sustainable home. You will learn how to recycle kitchen and garden "waste" and turn it into a useful resource for your soil.

These workshops will cover hot garden composting, bokashi and worm farms.

Coming to a Community Garden or School near you - Contact me for an up-to-date schedule, or to discuss hosting a workshop at your school or preschool. No need to schedule attendance - just show up!

Special gifts and incentives offered to attendees to encourage them into Composting!

Any preschool or school can host a workshop for their parents and staff; contact Earthly Delights to arrange.

When: Every Saturday 1 pm – 2:30 pm Starting 21 March 2009
Teacher: Instruction will be by Lilly White, from Kids Edible Gardens, or Annmarie Banchy, from Earthly Delights Ltd (the Worm Lady).
What: Covers composting kitchen scraps and garden wastes using hot composting, Bokashi and Worm Farms. All methods demonstrated..

From time to time, Earthly Delights will host free "Wormshops" to teach worm farming, hands on. Learn tips and tricks on container-style worm farms, DIY ideas, and lots of great information on the power of the worm. Join the Worm Club to be on the mailer for these free talks.
